Students, Residents and Fellows
Earn Scholarship!
At SEAS, we are committed to helping trainees gain a better understanding of the IR Specialty. With the new IR residency already underway, it is paramount that society members bring together IR professionals with medical students. We believe early engagement of medical students as members in attendance of the annual SEAS meeting will provide an opportunity for exposure to IR and face-to-face contact with many of the leaders in our field. As such, we allow any trainee to attend the meeting for free.
SEAS will offer three $1000.00 Lou Martin scholarships to IR Trainees (students, residents, fellows) for the upcoming meeting.
The scholarship was established in recognition of Lou Martin, a distinguished senior member of SEAS and retired Professor of Radiology at Emory University in Atlanta. He envisioned the need for SEAS to reach out to trainees and early career Interventional Radiologists who represent the future of our specialty. He has personally presented the awards at the last three meetings.
The deadline for submission is June 30th, 2024.
We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in Hilton Head Island.
Any fellow, resident, or student who wishes to attend the meeting is welcome and no registration fee will be charged!
